2015 Hyundai Elantra vs. 2015 Honda Civic
Are You Looking for a 2015 Hyundai Elantra in Mid-Missouri?
The 2015 Hyundai Elantra is an example of just how far an automaker can come, going from a cheap compact car to a reasonably well-built small car. Features like the new Hyundai Blue Link telematics make high-end trims of the Elantra quite appealing, though the basic Elantra SE is pretty limited in features—power accessories, air conditioning, and a six-speaker stereo system—with drivers needing to pay extra to receive modern amenities. The sedan does manage to have a decent fuel economy at least: 37 highway and 27 city mpg.
We think that you can do better than the Elantra when you’re shopping for a small car in the Mid-Missouri area, though. The Honda Civic just took home a 2015 Kelley Blue Book KBB.com Small Car Best Buy Award,* giving Honda’s small car another edge over competition like the Elantra. While those fuel economy numbers on the Elantra aren’t bad, the 2015 Honda Civic LX with CVT is rated at an EPA-estimated 39 mpg on the highway and 30 mpg in the city.* Fuel economy is only a part of the picture, though. Honda has set a new level of standard features with the Civic, including the following at all entry-level trims: Bluetooth HandsFreeLink for phone and audio, an i-MID infotainment system with customizable interface, a rearview camera with built-in guidelines, and much more.
